The Auburn University Bullock County Health Science program (AUBCHS) provides numerous and diverse opportunities for a multitude of high school students in the exploration of and engagement with all aspects of the many Auburn University Colleges relevant to the medical field as well as the career pathways for workforce development within the domain of the health care system. AUBCHS provides multiple guest speakers, consultants, students, professors, and more experts for students at the Bullock County Career Tech Center sharing their knowledge of medical information, practices, and topics which include but are not limited to: Pharmacy, VCOM, Neuro and Psychological Sciences, Nursing, and Nutrition. The program provides exposure for students in the Health Science arena with new information and studies provided. In addition, AUBCHS will provide sponsorship of HOSA-Future Health Professionals, formerly known as Health Occupations Students of America, membership for career tech students.
