We’re happy to assist with media requests and provide information about Outreach programs, events, and initiatives.


Need help with communications or marketing?

Outreach Communications offers a range of services to support your projects, events, and initiatives. Whether you need graphic design, social media support, articles, announcements, videos, photography, or a design/project review consult, our team is here to help bring your ideas to life.

To streamline requests, please complete the AU Outreach Communications Request Form. This form helps us gather essential details about your project, timeline, and goals so we can provide the best possible support.

Request a Photographer

Photo services are now available under contract for limited hours in the Auburn/Opelika area for Outreach events. Please complete the Outreach IT Help Ticket and select 'Request a Photographer' to put in your request. If approved, you will receive a confirmation email and will be added to the calendar. Please allow 72 business hours for approval.

Please plan for photographer in 30 minute increments – requiring no more than 3 hours of time for larger events being respectful of his/her schedule. Turnaround for photo editing will take at least 48 hours, unless discussed and agreed to in advance.

Appointments are not scheduled until confirmed by photographer with a confirmation email. Photographer requests 36 hour notice of any changes to the original submitted request.

At this time, you can request a photographer for departmental, professional headshots(group or individual), photography for a publication, or photo coverage at an Outreach event. See guidelines below.

HEADSHOTS

Headshot photo sessions are available for one individual or a group of individuals.

PUBLICATION

If you need photos for printed or online publications, let us know your specific publication or web need (i.e. 2 photos of a speaker at an event for a story in a publication), and the photographer is needed for no more than 30 minutes.

EVENTS

Photo coverage of newsworthy stories and events. Event photos may include group shots, candid photos, specific details, etc. (Please include a copy of the itinerary for the event. Also, include a description of the specific photo(s) you are requesting.)
