Short Bio

Claire Wilson has been a science and humanities editor and writer for more than 30 years and has been with the Encyclopedia of Alabama for 20 years. Her particular specialty is editing and working with scholarly, academic, and professional writing to make it accessible to a general audience. She has a background in Anthropology, Archaeology, and Geology and earned a master’s degree in Public Administration from Auburn University in 2012.
