Short Bio

Cheri Lumpkin is the Communications Specialist for the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Auburn University. She is responsible for marketing, communications, design and classroom technology to promote and enhance lifelong learning in the region. She is also a member of the University Outreach Communications team advancing the mission of Outreach through collaboration and strategic engagement. Lumpkin earned her BS in Mass Communication from the University of Montevallo. She worked as a Graphics Coordinator for WVTM-TV in Birmingham, producing graphics for live newscasts and specials including a regional Emmy award-winning special about the Iron Bowl. She has experience in media law, business management and instructional design.
