OLLI membership is your invitation to learn something new, meet interesting people and stay active and engaged. Whether you’re joining a class, attending a lecture, traveling with friends, or exploring new interests, OLLI offers opportunities to be part of a community.
Annual membership includes access to Special Interest Groups, socials, workshops, and many other member benefits. The membership year runs from August 1 to July 31 and consists of four academic terms – Fall, Winter, Spring and Summer.
OLLI offers courses in a variety of subjects including lecture-based courses, hands-on learning, outdoor activities, movement courses, online offerings and more. Whether you want to try a single course or you’re ready to dive in with unlimited courses for the year, there’s an option for every level of interest.

How much is annual membership?
Annual membership is $70. This includes the ability to participate in Special Interest Groups and workshops, invitations to member social events and travel opportunities.
How much are courses?
Members may take a single course in any one term for $40.
If you plan to take more than one course in a single term, we recommend the Unlimited Course option at $90 per term.
Package discounts are available. The All-Inclusive package includes annual membership and unlimited courses in the Fall, Winter and Spring terms for $330. The All-Inclusive Plus package includes annual membership and unlimited courses in Fall, Winter, Spring and Summer terms for $370.
New this year, is an Online Only option for $45. This includes access to all OLLI courses offered online during the membership year.
What benefits are included in membership?
Your annual membership includes the ability to participate in Special Interest Groups and workshops, invitations to member social events and travel opportunities as well as certain privileges at Auburn University. Members enjoy access to AU libraries, the ability to purchase campus parking passes, course auditing and more. Members also receive discounts at the Gogue Performing Arts Center, AU Bookstore and several local businesses.

What courses does OLLI offer?
Every term brings something new at OLLI. Visit our course catalog to see the latest options. Members are welcome to propose a course, too! If you’re interested in teaching a course, visit the Teach for OLLI page.
How do I register for courses?
Visit our registration page to connect to our course registration system. Once you create a free account, you’ll be able to view all of our membership and course options.
Can I join OLLI any time during the year?
Yes! You are welcome to join any time.
Do you have to take courses to join?
No. We hope you’ll find courses that pique your curiosity, but taking courses is not required.
Do you have to be 50 years or older to join?
No. Adults of any age are welcome to join OLLI.
Do you have to be retired to join?
No. We have members who are retired, semi-retired and still working. We welcome you to participate whenever it’s convenient for you. Curiosity never retires.
Do you have to be a retiree or alumnus of Auburn University?
No. With more people moving to the area, there are many members of OLLI who have no prior affiliation with Auburn University. OLLI is a great way to join the Auburn family.
Do you have to be a college graduate?
No. OLLI membership consists of people with a variety of life experiences. Everyone is welcome.
