The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at Auburn University invites Auburn University graduate students to apply for a competitively selected teaching position. Two student instructors will be selected to receive $1,200 in compensation for teaching a six-to-eight-week OLLI class on their current field of study and research. OLLI is a program under the Vice President for University Outreach that improves the quality of life for older adults by providing opportunities to engage with ideas, each other, and our community. At OLLI curiosity never retires.
Applicants should submit a course proposal through the link provided below. Classes should be taught once a week for an hour and a half in consecutive weeks during one of OLLI’s three 2026- 2027 academic terms.
Student Instructors will be selected by a review committee at OLLI at Auburn Curriculum Committee and the selected instructors will be announced in June.
