From the Vice President

Dr. Royrickers CookDear Auburn Family, Donors and Community Partners,

I am honored to share the Auburn University Outreach Impact Report, which celebrates the remarkable progress we have made together in advancing Auburn’s land-grant mission. This report reflects not only the breadth of our outreach and engagement efforts but also the depth of our commitment to improving lives across Alabama and beyond.

Over the past year, Auburn Outreach has strengthened partnerships, expanded programs, and embraced innovation to meet the evolving needs of our communities. From educational initiatives that prepare students for college and careers to collaborations that drive economic development and enhance quality of life, our work continues to make a tangible difference.

We are also proud of the continued advancements in Auburn’s Rural Health Initiative, which is quietly transforming access to care in rural communities. Through innovative solutions like telehealth carts, OnMed Care Stations, and strong local partnerships, this initiative is improving health outcomes and building trust where it matters most. With more expansion planned for 2026, Auburn remains committed to addressing critical needs in rural healthcare.

Looking ahead, we are entering an exciting new chapter. In the coming year, we will begin implementing our 10-year strategic plan, defining a clear path forward to deepen our impact, strengthen partnerships, and create new opportunities for engagement. This plan will guide us in building programs and collaborations that respond to community needs while staying true to Auburn’s mission and vision.

Thank you for your continued support and partnership. Together, we are building a future where Auburn Outreach serves as a catalyst for innovation, engagement, and positive change across Alabama and around the world.

War Eagle!
Sincerely,

Royrickers Cook

Auburn Creed

I believe that this is a practical world and that I can count only on what I earn. Therefore, I believe in work, hard work.

I believe in education, which gives me the knowledge to work wisely and trains my mind and my hands to work skillfully.

I believe in honesty and truthfulness, without which I cannot win the respect and confidence of my fellow men.

I believe in a sound mind, in a sound body and a spirit that is not afraid, and in clean sports that develop these qualities.

I believe in obedience to law because it protects the rights of all.

I believe in the human touch, which cultivates sympathy with my fellow men and mutual helpfulness and brings happiness for all.

I believe in my Country, because it is a land of freedom and because it is my own home, and that I can best serve that country by “doing justly, loving mercy, and walking humbly with my God.”

And because Auburn men and women believe in these things, I believe in Auburn and love it.

-The Auburn Creed, George Petrie (1943)
