The Office of Faculty Engagement provides leadership and advocacy for faculty-driven outreach and community engagement across Auburn’s campus. By offering strategic support and resources, the office empowers faculty, staff, and students to make lasting impacts through a range of programs and initiatives.

Signature programs include the Award for Excellence in Faculty Outreach, the Faculty Outreach and Engagement Council, and the Outreach and Engaged Scholarship Symposium. One of the office’s cornerstone initiatives is the Competitive Outreach Scholarship Grants program, which supports faculty-led projects that directly benefit communities.

The office also oversees the Encyclopedia of Alabama (EOA), a vital educational resource for K–12 students and teachers statewide.

As Auburn continues to lead in outreach and engagement, the Office of Faculty Engagement remains committed to empowering faculty, staff, and students to make meaningful contributions that serve communities and advance the university’s mission.
