Short Bio

Janie Echols-Brown has been with Auburn University since 2000 and currently serves as the Communications & Marketing Manager for University Outreach, facilitating creative direction, branding, and promotional efforts. She began her Auburn career as an Art Designer and later served as an Outreach Specialist, contributing to a wide range of projects and initiatives. Prior to joining Auburn, Janie spent a decade as a manager in Creative Services at the Opelika-Auburn News. She graduated from the University of Alabama with a B.S. in Commerce and Business Administration, majoring in Marketing with concentrations in Sales Management and Market Research. A lifelong Auburn resident, Janie enjoys the area with her husband and daughter.
